I was hoping to post a screenshot of my debian box schlumpf at 500+ days of uptime, but noticed today that the date had rolled over after 497 days. The effect is known as "jiffies rollover".
Looking in /var/log, the last boot date was 2005-12-04, which means I'm not quite at 500 days yet. The image here is from a while back.
- Bad news: no cool screen shot. :(
- Good news: I can upgrade to etch next weekend now that my obsessive numerology is satisfied. :)
